we have been talking about making a trip to Hort park for a walk since many moons ago but somehow it did not happen due to one reason or another. Either the timing is not right (naptime or mealtime) or weather is unbearable, it does not help when myself and Zethan is not very fond of being close to nature (read perspiring like mad).
The last few days were pretty hazy and all are trying to keep acitivities indoor if possible. This afternoon, a heavy downpour not only dispersed the haze as well as kept the temperature low. After marketing and taking advantage that we are at mum's place which is just 5 mins drive to Hort Park, we decided to make a trip there.
Reached there at about 6pm and took a walk in the park which is very pleasant since the temperature is ideal and humidity is just nice. We spent about an hour there till the sky turned dark before we head back. It is rather interesting as we managed to show Zethan millipede which he took a look and went on to say goodbye to it without reservation, a look of disgust in his face. he is fascinated by the fishes in the pond near the entrance, the little flowers seen along the way, water features and best of all, super excited sighting the numerous slides.

Guess the walk is a little too much for the little guy and he attempted a few tries asking to be carried. A mental note, the next trip to bring along stroller / tricycle or buggy to push him around.
