Zethan's 10th week

mummy was alone with Zethan for a number of days this week and she felt sheer satisfaction for being able to understand Zethan better and attend to his needs swiftly.

Of course not to mention the sarong is a life saver as well and provided mummy with some time on hand to perform her other tasks.

Mummy is definitely treasuring this last 2nd week of her maternity leave with Zethan as she is very sure she will be missing Zethan badly during weekdays when Zethan will be at grandma's house.

Zethan is very fun these days as he is very responsive when mummy and daddy talked and played with him. Lots of cooing and giggling even laughing. He tend to rub his face when sleepy and suck loudly at his mittens but never on his bare hands which is weird. Mummy suspect that he does not wish to dirty his hands!

Feeding time can be a wrestle at times as he develop bad habit of fussing before and amidst milk thus require coaxing but yet don't finish his milk all the time. Feeding time lengthen to 30mins instead of the usual 20mins.

Zethan's 2nd Gathering

Baby Zethan attended his 2nd gathering at Auntie Leona's house meeting many of his babies friends (estimated to be 21!).

As mummy is alone preparing for the gathering, it took her almost 2hrs before they could set off. Daddy fetch us there and Zethan slept through the journey, waking only when we reached our destination. Looks like he's eager to say hello to all his babies friends as well.

Zethan is well behaved and call out for 'help' only during his feeding time and he need to be carried feeling warm on the mattress. He fell asleep in mummy's arm after feeding but woke up due to his neighbour crying after being placed on the mattress. Both mummy and Zethan had a great deal of fun!

Zethan's 9th week

Baby Zethan went for his 1st jab being the 1st dose for 6in1. Mummy decided to go for his jabs with a GP instead of polyclinic as it is 1 jab lesser thus lesser pain.

Baby Zethan is a brave boy, cry for a short while during his jab but was easily being pacified.

Zethan came down with slight fever the next evening which mummy panic as she was alone (accordingly to the GP, only a very small handful come down with fever after 1st dose of 6in1). She decided against offering medication and monitor him for the whole night. Her heartbeat goes on a roller coaster with Zethan's fluctuating temperature of 37.5 - 38 degree celcius. It certainly brought a huge relief when Zethan is back to his usual self in the later part of the night and wasn't as lethargic as earlier.

Baby Zethan found a good pal which is his favourite toy, Mr Caterpillar. He enjoy 'talking' and smiling even giggling to his best pal. Mummy is trying to buy another one to be placed at grandma's house to avoid ferrying it around and minimize the risk of losing it but to no avail. (do let mummy know if you happen to come across it in the malls). He love it as the head is red in color and being a developmental toy in red, black and white; the 3 colors seen by young infant.

Zethan's 8th week

Isn't it fast, BB Zethan is 2 months old! Time seem to pass by in a flash but mummy certainly isn't looking forward to end of the month when she's due to return to work! She's going to miss BB Zethan big time, skeptical on how she will be handling her emotion the 1st few days, haiz!

After much consideration and pyscho-ing in a nice manner by grandma, mummy decided to give in to sarong for BB Zethan in view that he will sleep much more soundly and lessen the incidences of getting startled amid his sleep.

However after a day, Zethan is enjoying and sleeping very soundly in his new 'toy'!

Zethan responded very well when mummy and grandma talk to him by cooing and smiling!
