BB2

As most would have known by now, even though we did not chose to announce in a big way, we are expecting our BB2 mid July.
The past few gynae visits have been pretty usual and normal except for a few complains from me here and there. I do get dizzy spells occasionally thus got Woody to check the blood pressure which is normal. This pregnancy is rather different from Zethan's in a way as sailing into the 2nd trimester now, my appetite isn't any much better. Slow and steady if the way to go describing my meals intake, very much similar to that of an infant. Small & frequent meals, every 3 hourly, see the similarity?!!
We passed Oscar with good results though BB2 was not in a good position to measure the NT so having to go for a walk, have some small bites before returning for a 2nd scan. Over the 2nd scan, we were brought into the ultrasound room which apparently is supposed to be the better Oscar ultrasound and it sure is interesting. I could view the procedures in a seperate monitor mounted on the wall in favor of the mummy on the couch. The sonographer was very precise and detailed and was repeatedly asked about the gender BB2. Seriously I would have hoped we can't see anything at this point of time otherwise it will be likely to be another prince! She showed us her 'prediction' and to the extend on how they usually judge if it's a boy or girl but was quick to add 'no shopping yet please till confirmation during detailed scan' and 'please do not tell your gynae about my prediction'. Cute lady she is.
Anyhow subsequent visits to Woody yield no confirmation on the gender as well. On the 14th week visit, he asked if we have known the gender of BB2. He tried to detect but only mentioned see nothing between the leg which might be good news but it's still too early to tell. So of course all hopes were on the 18th week visit, everybody around us were so anxious and excited over this visit. BUT he repeated the same exact same thing! Refused to give any confirmation despite showing us the ultrasound of in between the legs and suggested to wait till detailed scan since it is about 3 weeks away! Okay, shopping plans halted till further notice again!
On a happier note, movement was felt much much earlier at around 16+ weeks. I was resting on the couch when I felt some trembling & vibration waves in the tummy. The initial thought was "am I imagining things?!!" focus a little on the tum and realised I am not, it's bb2's movements and was much stronger and prominent than Zethan's which used to be very very mild.
