Ending 2011

Gosh, time flies and we are approaching end of the year!

First of all, a belated greeting ~ Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope that all had a great time over the festive holidays.

Advanced Happy New Year!! Since I gathered if I don't do it now, it will be another belated greeting!

Everybody seem to be talking about resolutions for 2011 and achievements, everywhere especially so in Facebook.

What have I achieved in year 2011?!!

Seriously I have no idea and all I can think of is shifting into our new home and having to spend more time with Zethan by being a SAHM. Anyhow the goals I have set for myself before I turned into SAHM was not achieved!! Can I say have not even started. Zethan is not toilet trained, not potty trained and not sleeping in his own room! Please don't ask me what have I been busy with.

The only consolation is Zethan is about to identify the sounds of the alphabets all thanks to Leapfrog Letter Factory and till date identify A, B, C, D. He is able to count from 1-10 in particular rote counting. Still a little confused over pysical couting. His speech has improved tremendously even though there are areas that need to be worked on. He is more confident and outspoken among friends. My dear friends reading this post might say that another achievement is Zethan getting so chub chub and putting on weight.

Time to set resolution for 2012?!!

Let me think about it and hope that I can set realistic ones which are achievable!

HKG Day II

Had Australian Diary Company for breakfast - no regrets despite the long Q but quite a culture shock from the servers.

drizzling after breakfast, took MTR to Central, whacked H&M @ Queens Street. Went in search for Mak's noodles for lunch and off to The Peak.

Heavy rain as we are about to leave The Peak and had a miserable time finding our way to the MTR station with Z napping in the stroller and the uber anti-stroller linkway.

Decide to take MTR back to TST and had dinner nearby sheltered since it is raining the whole evening. Made it to Ocean Terminal for Z's stuff and toys before going back to hotel after tabaoing yummy desserts which mark the end of day 2!

HKG 2011 - Day 1

Terribly delayed post of our short family trip which happened on 24th Sep - 28th Sep and yes I am aware it is Dec now!!!

Fly SQ A380 9.30am flight. Reached HKG late due to delays in landing schedule thus by then transfer to hotel, was close to 4pm! Stayed at The Royal Pacific Towers & Hotel @ TST.

Went for Tai Ping Koon dinner then to Avenue of stars followed by Symphony of Lights (which is nothing impressive). Had supper before returning to hotel for a good rest!
