Weekend

6w4d
feeling ~ lazy

a few days since mummy blog.....hehe

mummy is on medical leave for 2 days to rest & recuperate from my flu but had to return to office for meeting on Fri afternoon...for the whole noon sumore......lots of pressure to be expected from work real real soon....

Sat ~ mummy is grouchy & angry with daddy as his mobilephone disturb us from our sleep in the morning hence unable to sleep again....anyway daddy picked us up for lunch and mummy decide to do some marketing for some homecooked food which we are seriously deprived of recently.

Mummy bought some Cod fish though costly but beneficial for baby so considered as worthwhile. In a dilemma on what soup to cook since we should be avoiding certain food thus the ideal choice will be sweet corn & carrots soup. Unfortunately the poultry stall is closed thus we had to make do with spare ribs instead for the soup.

Our healthy & nutritious (hopefully) dinner

We decide to take things easy over the weekend and have a good rest at home for the sake of Baby thus stayed at home the whole of Sat watching TV programs and surfing the net.

Sun ~ again for the countless days....mummy is awaken by daddy's mobilephone hence unable to return to bed after the washroom visit. Feeling hungry, decide to make us a cup of milk and gobble down a mini crossiant and yet not feeling quite satisfied. Watch TV and after daddy woke up, went to prepare the soup to cook some Mian Xian instead of instant noodles which is rather unhealthy for Baby.

Our lunch of yummy & healthy soupy Mian Xian...

after lunch we nua-ed for a while watching TV program which featured Club Med...mummy told daddy that it is perfect for family getaway though pretty costly. We set off to Bugis Guan Yin temple to pray for Baby's health and well being. Mummy pray for Baby...to be strong and healthy....all go well and good leading to a smooth delivery and arrival of Baby. Mummy also pray for blessing for Baby to show us a strong blinking heartbeat on coming Thur over our checkup so mummy & daddy can rest assured that Baby is doing great!

After praying...we went for our teabreak as mummy need to satisfy the hunger pang. We had pork porridge (unfortunately mummy couldn't have it due to the egg which is raw and stirred in), char kway teow (a tad unhealthy but delicious) and our dessert; black sesame paste. However mummy is still not satisfied and drooling over Chwee Kuay but decide against it as I did not wish to get too full and bloated which is really uncomfortable.

We went to Uncle Matthew's shop to say hello and catch up with Auntie Ding Ding for quite a while but as they are pretty busy, we took our leave. Initially we wanted to have our dinner at home to finish the soup however while we are on our journey home, mummy changed my mind and expressed wish to dine out.

It was tough trying to decide where to have our dinner as there are numerous food we should be avoiding thus many options are left out. After an exasperating dilemma, we make our way to Alexandra Village to try our luck at the carpark if we are lucky enuff in getting one. True enough the spot where mummy waited, a van is leaving. We took some while to decide on our dinner - roasted duck rice and belacan sweet potato leaves. It is truly a disappointing meal and mummy is so grouchy about it...complaining constantly on our way home. Mummy is contemplating whether to buy a apple pie from Mac in case we get hungry later. Didn't do so in the end as mummy is feeling rather bloated and nauseous.

Reached home and upon changing, went straight to bed for a rest before heading to the shower. Did some work thereafter and then surfing motherhood forum (MHF) of cos not to forget updating our blog since the last post was few days back.

Baby...mummy & daddy loved You!!!
