Quinny

7weeks 3days
Feeling ~ fresher

mummy had a good rest for the weekend thus feeling much better and much more refresh. These few days felt lesser of giddiness and nauseous so hopefully it will remain in this way next we cross our 1st trimester.

mummy & daddy had a little squabble on friday and refused to speak to him for the whole of fri night all the way to sat noon. we went for lunch on sat wif a super black face of mummy and all of daddy's questions are met wif nods and shakes of head as a reply. Did not have a good appetite for lunch and had to eat very slowly , purely eating for the sake of eating. Once we reached home, mummy head straight for the bed again..resting and more resting while watching TV programs. The quietly mummy head for the shower in the late noon w/o notifying daddy and while doing my makeup, refused to answer any of daddy's questions too which left him seriously helpless. We went to bugis to pray...praying for blessings for Baby...blessing that Baby will be healthy and it will be a smooth journey for us.

After praying we went for early dinner as both of us are feeling real hungry and decide to have pork porridge..try my luck on 4 pcs of chwee kuays which is delicious. Mummy had to walk to OG to use the bathroom in order not to donate our dinner in the other washrooms because of the stench. Mummy had wanted to get stretch mark cream but unfortunately Avent only carry the oil version (in OG) which I am worried will be a tad too greasy and uncomfy. So we decide to give it a miss and try our luck at Robinsons since they are having 7% absorbed promo and since we have not been to Orchard for a long while. Robinsons is packed esp the nursery session, full of preggies and of cos mummy's tummy is the smallest among all and I looked FAT instead of preggy....=p Quite unfortunately although Avent Indulgent Body Cream is available but there's no promotion for Avent except for the 7%. We decide to try our luck again at the OG next door so we will not have to travel to Metro Paragon. Luckily for us we found it with 20% off thus costing only $19.10 from the orig $23.90.

Now our eyes are more or less only fixed for Quinny and everywhere we go, it appears that only Quinny Buzz will catch our attention. Both Mothercare and OG's price tag are at the region of $1.1k which is too costly and we kind of regret not getting it over the fair last week which comes with a infant car seat. Mummy was telling daddy that it's not worth paying for the price tag and I would rather get a travel system which cost about $400. Further to that I am concerned that Quinny Buzz is rather restricted in terms of the space thus if Baby is a little bigger, could get rather uncomfy stuck in that space.

Which lead me to the objective of this blog and its title. This morning, daddy woke with a silly grin while mummy is watching TV program and mumble something. Then upon drilling further, daddy laughed and said that he dreamt about ferrying Baby in a Quinny perhaps due to the fact that we have been looking at it yestersday. Suddenly a thought came to mummy and thus reminded daddy. Daddy had mentioned last week after the fair that if Baby wish to have a Quinny, let daddy dream about getting a Quinny. So I told daddy that he had better not cheat since he 'promised' Baby that he will get one if Baby let him dream about it. keke

So we shall see if daddy fulfill his promise end of the day. Then again mummy will still evaluate the pros & cons before taking the plunge as it's more important to be practical versus stylish appearance.
