More Purees

Zethan tried more puree over the last 2 weeks; papaya, sweet potato and currently peas on 'trial'

papaya is really fuss free in terms of preparation and Zethan enjoy it lots, spoons after spoons opening his mouth automatically and complaining when mummy is too slow in serving. However on the 3rd day his poop is rather weird, orangey and grainy stuck all over his groin. Messy and tough to clean up.

Sweet potato isn't that tough to prepare, basically just steam, scoop out flesh and puree and end result resemble that of kaya! Had to add some water otherwise too dry to be blended. Hold it for so long before deciding to let Zethan try as it is likely to cause bloatedness which will be a nightmare. Zethan is neutral about it but as grandma noticed that he seem to face discomfort after consuming, it was decided to be shelved off till further notice.

Peas puree is real hard work having to push through the sieve for a smoother consistency. Even though without pushing through the sieve taste fine but judging from the picky nature of Zethan (he can push out bits of apple skin escaped blending), don't wish to risk him rejecting the whole lot. Mummy was lamenting to grandma that this is harder work than exercising and she perspire buckets. Mummy serve the peas puree thinned with milk but Zethan don't quite fancy it till date (2nd try).

more purees to come although at this stage choices can be rather limited.
